ALMOST HUMAN - Hold On 7"EP 1987

First forming in 1979, playing a lot of covers in the pubs around Adelaide before folding in '84, and then getting back together in '86. The pub rock scene was quite healthy back then, and they were very popular. Almost Human actually hold the record for attracting the biggest crowd to the Bridgeway Hotel squeezing in 1800 people in for one gig! Unfortunately, the scene started to die out towards the end of the 80's, and they only put out this release - the EP 'Hold On'.
The band have managed to get most of their original line-up back together and you can download a new mp3 over at http://www.almosthuman.com.au/

01 Hold on
02 Shadows of fear
03 Death warmed up

192 kbps
Hold On

What's the PW it is not ausrock

Man what a band, I roadie for these guys in the early 80's, beofre doing lights for Shelia-Be_Right and Micky Finn & The Dukes. The first show I ever saw them to over at tree tree gully was a KISS show. The next time I saw them was ever Thursday night at the Arora in Hindmarsh Square. I ve got a tape around somewhere of one of their shows I try and find it.

Wow! This is so sped up that it sounds kinda silly. Damien sounds like a chipmunk! Someone needs to upload this at it's regular speed.
