Melbourne Metal band BENGAL TIGERS arose during the late 70s delivering classic Metal . The band featured frontman Gordon Heald, guitarist Barney, bass player Steve Tyler and drummer Mick Egan.The band dissapeared for a while resurrecting themselves in 1989 with new guitarist Yuri Linzew in tow. Keith Peter-Budge took Linzew's place in 1992. BENGAL TIGERS were back on course with a 1995 EP, Pain Clinic'. A further EP, In One Ear, followed in November of 1997 before a third effort in 1998 would be headed by a cover version of the BEASTIE BOYS 'Fight For You Right (To Party)'. Later the same year the band issued the 'In The Blood' album. Peter-Budge bade his farewell in July of 1999.
